Social Media & Strategist Summary:
This position requires assisting the marketing & creative team with implementation of social plans and marketing strategies. The position requires an ability to be multi-task oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, ability to cope under pressure, maintain good judgement, eager to learn and a professional, supportive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Creative & Marketing Support
- Provide support to Creative & Marketing team initiatives and projects.
- Assist in the planning and execution of email and social content for clients.
- Manage promotional/marketing calendars as requested.
Content Creation & Social Media
- Coordinate social media content for new product launches.
- Clients: Crème, Shindy, and others as specified.
- Support Crème’s social media and content marketing teams by:
- Collecting content (photo, video, live video).
- Identifying new content opportunities.
- Assisting in ideation, creation and editing of reels.
- Brainstorming original ideas for content creation.
- Generate ideas to support client seasonal features on social media.
- Assist the Account Manager with executing social media account planning and reporting.
Influencer & Community Engagement
- Source and communicate with potential influencers as needed.
- Conduct some community and outbound engagement for legacy clients.
Trends & Analytics
- Stay updated on trends in:
- The beauty and wellness space.
- The social media space.
- Provide recommendations on how these trends apply to clients and Crème.
- Consolidate and report on data monthly for clients and Crème.
- Provide analytics and reporting as needed.
Email & SMS Campaigns
- Assist in deploying and maintaining email and SMS campaigns and automation programs.
- Analyze current strategies and pivot to new approaches as needed.
- Previous experience in Klaviyo preferred.
Collaboration & Miscellaneous
- Collaborate closely with internal and external partners.
- Assist with photo and video shoots as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or social role. Preferably in beauty, fashion or wellness.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or business preferred.
- Excellent understanding of social media best practices and platforms and enterprise social media tools, such as Planoly or Sprout Social.
- Proven ability to create and manage high-quality, engaging content for Instagram
- A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, trends, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently with the support of the larger marketing team, to execute strategies as well as administrative tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential including inter-department collaboration, relationship management and conflict management.
- Proficiency in computer skills required, including MS Office, Adobe CS suite, google suite of services, ClickUp (or experience with other PM platforms), and more
- Resourceful, adaptable, resilient, and having a strong sense of self-awareness.
